DIM REVIEW: WEEK 3 and WEEK 4

Third week: SECOND lecture (buttttttt it’s a replacement of the first week lecture)

HELLOOOOO AGAINNNN

The second lecture is also about the same thing but more detailed, I learned about I/C . How to resolve multivalued attribute problems.

Rather than doing it this way:anis

We can do it this way: anisa

I learned a little bit about relationship or connectivity and cardinality. But not quite understand it.

But I do admit the exercise we had during the class, really helps me understanding more about ERD and the fact that there must be certain rules to follow before assigning what is entity and attributes and whatnot.

The group activity WASSSS refreshinggg. Because we had the chance to discuss in a more comfortable environment with classmates. And i like how people from different areas is brought together to solve a problem. it allows me to be more comfortable other people outside my view

That’s All. Thank you.

the end???

no wayyyyy, we have another lecture that as per usual

THIRD LECTURE

The very next day, we have presentation of the project. its good to see everyone capability in solving problem. that particular. allows me to screen my ability and understanding with other people. As madam thought that we need to understand more in composite entity, cardinality, primary key & foreign key.

AGREEDDDD

i do need to study more on that subject…

this class really isnt that long… so yeah.. nor will this review. butt as we have been given some assignment… im sure it’ll helpss

that’s all… Thank you for reading~~

Fourth week: NO CLASS only tutorial

we were given some exercise about ERD.

DONEEE..

ABOUT ME + EXPECTATIONS + GOALS

Personally, I don’t really understand the quotation of introduction to yourself… Haha.. is it wanting to know about me? Hope I can answer to that question. My name is……..Anis Afifah Izzati binti Mohd Zaki. My matric Id is 21773, a BIS undergraduate student. I have five siblings including me.

Moving on… I’ve never took any computer class nor anything related to economics before UTP. easy said, that I was a science student. went to regular highschool because my mom wont let me leave her sight. ironically, now I’m in Perak.yeah… that is a long way from home. 9 hours I tell ya, and that’s by bus.

My fav subject……english, mathematics and additional math.

My hobbies are none other than

sda
Im never bored doing these kind of thing. Watching disney and mostly english… always eng since 6 years old. Addicted to the net since form 3.

Im a very slow student.. “MADAM DO HELP ME,” this is not only recognize by myself also by my friends. all agree that im a little bit slow in learning. No matter how hard I struggled I just cant seems to find the right way to study. For me to understand something complex, I have to be explained twice or more. My expectation for this course is hopefully I can managed to understand this subject properly. Because like I just said.. im toooooo slow…. butttttt…. ohohooo there’s always a but.. i’m quite fast learning using video.. because i dont have to imagine the scenario it’s been imagined to me.jo

GOALS:

Understand the subject

Get A’s

Not wasting time during class…. loll… kidding.. sseriously…..

DIM REVIEW: WEEK 1 and WEEK 2

First week: NO CLASS

the end….

Second week: FIRST :LECTURE

On the first lecture one week after new terms start, I learned a little bit what Data Information Management about. I don’t really remember every single thing, but I do remember one particular word, ERD. The directly involve with the purpose of database design. Database design means to create database model of reality, queries SQL, modeling ERD. In this lecture I saw a glimpse of what ERD means but still not completely understand it. There are attributes, relationship and entities. Example of what I learned:

Primary key : something unique.

Foreign key : something similar that link both entities.
